The hotel in Vancouver was comfortable without feeling like I might be indulging more than I could afford. The complementary breakfasts were adequate - with healthy options, like fresh fruit, plain yogurt, whole grain bread and real eggs in addition to or in place of the usual sausage, bacon, fried potatoes and probably sugary dried cereals (I didn't see or ask for the latter). The hotel room was great, with temperature control, windows that opened and a balcony, wifi and everything immaculate. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The food in our shared dinners with the other choruses was truly fabulous... I don't know how much "Perform America" had to do with that feature... it seemed that it was managed by Elektra, our hosting chorus ? The whole process of signing up and paying Perform America for this was efficient with easy access to the lady in charge, even while so many different options were on offer (Seattle only, Vancouver only, Seattle + Vancouver, plane tickets or we make our own flying arrangements, etc.)
