I am the parent, and I have the following feedback:

1. Option to submit a check. If there is an option, make it clear. I do not like paying additional fees that offer no convenience to me.

2. Is there a cost breakdown? Having 4 kids to a room for $900+  for a very moderate priced hotel seems a lot.  The kids need to be one/bed. Who wants to sleep with in some cases strangers?

3. Double check the food options. On evening 1, everything was fried in fish grease and my child is allergic. On day 2, the options presented at 4pm weren't open, and she was allergic to the options available = seafood again. Overall, this decreased her satisfaction with the trip. She enjoyed the shows & museum.



Perform America met all our expectations and managed our travel needs very well.

Cornerstone University - Airline Booking Registration

The bus and bus driver were amazing (according to my daughter). The catered meals were also good. The two free meals though were not that good. I think they didn't have much time to actually get the food and eat their food. For future trips, you might want to consider having all meals be pre-planned or catered.

Manchester UMC & St. Louis Symphony Orchestra - Washington DC

It was a good visit to Washington DC. There was only 1 performance over the 5 day trip. The National Cathedral is a wonderful place to perform. I only wish that there would have been a larger audience (better advertising). There are many places to see in DC. The hotel location was superb for a close proximity to the Mall all that is there.

Though there were some airline issues on the way out PA’s staff was great in handling the last minute changes. Emmy was a wonderful local host who kept us all together. We had a great time on the capital!

We had a great time, good amenities, accommodations, and nice group of singers. The concert was Fabulous!

Very well organized.  Great tour guides.  Tony was an amazing director - I learned so much.  that is what I appreciate about such trips - all that we can learn.

Journeys with Joe - A Nashville Noel Grand Ole Recording Experience

Great trip with a very talented group of people. Enjoyed exploring Washington DC with the Manchester United Methodist Church Choir.  

I appreciated the hotel’s location, though the breakfast choices were meager. I wish Performance had c advertised our concert somewhere. I would also suggest they don’t talk to adults like they are talking to a kid’s group.

This was a great trip. Emily was very fun and helpful. The accommodations were great and the bus transportation was very comfortable.  Thank you for a great trip.

We had a good time. The breakfast items could have been better but it was corrected on the third day. I wanted hot water for my tea. Toast would have been nice. The fruit selections were great after the second day. I would have loved to have oatmeal.

Regarding communication to all participants, voicemail, texts or updated emails would be better because not all parties came to breakfast. So needed updates or eblasts for changes or additional changes should have been sent instead of verbal information at breakfast. Some people did not come down for breakfast as they were with family.


Overall , it was a good trip. The hotel staff was excellent,, The cleanliness, the food and the beds were great. Only one problem was that our coffee machine in the room did not work. The location was great also with easy access to taxis and Ubers.

Having the opportunity to perform at the National Cathedral is a memory I will remember. Had a great time and staff was excellent.

Despite our original flight being cancelled and losing a 1/2 day of sight seeing, the experience of the trip was wonderful.  Emmy was awesome

The trip was very well done. 
It was helpful to have access to a monthly payment plan to fund the trip, instead of paying the entire amount up front. 
Accept for the re-booking of the initial flight from St. Louis to DC, all was planned efficiently and the trip exceeded my expectations. 
The room accommodations were excellent and the location of the hotel to many sightseeing destinations was excellent. 
The tour guide was most helpful in keeping our group informed and on schedule. 
The daily breakfast was adequate, but more selections would have been desirable. 
Overall, the trip was a great success and I would definitely use Perform America in future endeavors. 

Despite the travel issues for departure, it worked out in the end.  I did appreciate Perform America doing everything they could to get us there on the day we were scheduled to arrive.

The breakfast and post-concert reception was less than desirable.  Food was ok but for the money paid, I thought there would be more options daily for breakfast, and a bit more food for the reception.

I did not care for our tour guide Emmy.  She was annoying and treated us like children.  And there was miscommunication with her and the airline representatives when leaving; it felt as if she was trying to control the airline.   

I had a great time. Hotel accommodation was good . Food could have been better. Fantastic  group.

Overall the trip was great. I wish there was more press done for the concert to increase the possibility of higher attendance. The accommodations were clean, close to museums and other attractions, and had good spaces for large group gatherings. The first travel day was very long, but that was more due to the airline than the travel company. 

I'd never done a trip like this before and didn't know what to expect.  Everything was so well planned and organized., there was never a hitch. They sure know what they're doing! Highly recommend.

This trip was great. The recording session space was much more organized. Nice to have a shuttle from the hotel. 

The trip was amazing and it exceeded my expectations. The tours were well planned. The restaurant on Monday night was perfect. The recording experience was great. 

We were very pleased with all the tours, dinners, accommodations and special events.  Thank you to Krista and Patrick for keeping us organized and taking good care of everyone.  The music recording, of course, was the highlight of the week and we have Joe and Tony to thank.  

It was a terrific trip.  We had great accommodations, good good, fun outings and wonderful leaders and personnel to coordinate all the details.  The recording experience was AWESOME!   Thank you so much.

This was a once-in-lifetime experience: recording music in the RCA studios in Nashville! Well-organized and creative use of time. Love Joseph Martin! Would go on another trip with him anytime. Zoom meetings prepared us well. Part-dominant recordings sent in advance were especially helpful.

One thing that would make this excellent trip even better: first day at breakfast have Joseph and the others introduce themselves before we get on the bus.

We were able to see CMHF, Paula Deans' for chicken dinner, and attend the Grand Ole Opry, and had plenty of free time.  Rehearsal space was wonderful and really improved taping space.  Met needs of special diets and two wonderful "guides" Patrick and Krista. Look forward to meeting again in Dayton to record again.

It was an amazing trip and awesome experience! The recording days were incredible. Joe Martin is like no other composer and my favorite. Tony DeRosa and Sarah W. were 
wonderful as well. Krista arranged it all with expertise and Patrick was a great tour guide.
I look forward to July 2026 and O Say Can We Sing recording session in Indianapolis.

I had a great time. The included meals were really good. I enjoyed the sightseeing. I would do it all again.

It was beyond my expectations! The joy of music and love of singing connected us all. Being with Joe and Tony was amazing and so much fun! Patrick was charming, and Krista kept us on track. The hotel was comfortable with special breakfasts daily. Our bus drivers were great and courteous.  Doug, Sharon, Conner and others at RCA as well.

It was a wonderful trip with every little detail planned. The accommodations were excellent, transportation was reliable. Our drivers and tour guides were awesome. Thanks to Krista for amazing trip.

Great trip!  Tours and meals were perfect!  The only thing I would change would be the last dinner - the food and show were fabulous but I would have preferred a dinner where we all could be together, rehash the trip and say our good-byes.  There were quite a few people that I didn't get to see because we were at different tables, on different buses back and different departure schedules in the AM.

Had a great time and enjoyed seeing former travelers and meeting new ones.

Sounded like the girls had a wonderful time, experiencing the many unique opportunities that NY has to offer, centered around a choral theme. It would be even better if the flight wasn't red eye.

Peninsula Girls Chorus - New York City & Carnegie Hall

Helpful organization of pre-booked meals and excursions, as well as performances.

New York was excellent, but the communications before the trip regarding the itinerary were very much lacking.  Additionally, the return flight was poorly chosen.  I would not recommend using We Travel to any student group and would not book a trip with them again.

Carnegie Hall was nice.  Rest of trip was characterized by poor planning and poor communication.

Our tour guide was amazing. He was so helpful in navigating the city and always went the extra mile!

We had a wonderful time! Even with small hiccups along the way our tour guides helped us navigate and kept things fun! We would absolutely do this again.

It’s was frustrating. Travel plans changed several times and I wasn’t able to travel with my singer. Due to them changing our travel plans I paid for 2 days of setting in an airport. Ground transportation was a joke. My singers bus didn’t show up and they were left at the hotel for 2 hours and missed part of the sight seeing for the day (9/11 memorial) . The rest of the day was rushed and could have been planned much better. The Hard-rock cafe experience was terrible. I purchased a separate ticket for my husband and paid $90 for a stale nacho bar. The only other offerings were a small hummus table and dessert. They ran out and didn’t replenish. Total waste of money. The only bright side of the trip was Carnegie Hall. Wouldn’t recommend!

My son went on the trip with his high school choir. He had a great time on the trip. As a parent I thought the trip was very expensive for what was included. We were also charged for a trip with 3 people per room and he said there were 4 in his room.
